I’ve been a keen photographer for many years and as I’m an Ecology graduate most of my personal work focuses on the natural environment.  I’m also interested in how photography encourages me to take time to appreciate the beauty in the everyday world.
Following a short training course in participatory photography with the respected charity PhotoVoice, I earned an MA (with distinction) in Socially Engaged Photography at Salford University with Open Eye Gallery.
During my MA I explored alternative photographic techniques, and worked with gardening charity, Let's Grow Preston.

I'm currently working on a range of projects, including
Photographer in residence at the MerseyCare NHS Life Rooms in Walton with Open Eye Gallery.
Caregiving with carers in Greater Manchester, funded by a National Lottery Project Grant from the Arts Council England in partnership with Age UK Salford and Gaddum Salford Carers support.
Photographer in residence at RHS Bridgewater Wellbeing Garden in parthership with Open Eye Gallery and University of Salford Art Collection
